Posters appearing across the Boston area

We are aware of a number of posters that have appeared in the Boston area referring to an alleged sexual assault. We understand that their appearance may cause concern within the community, and we want to provide an update.

We were notified about an incident which is currently being investigated. Officers have spoken with the reporting person, who is known to police, and will be meeting with him again to clarify the details of his initial report.

We will continue to investigate and provide any support required.
